Caught my first Mahseer on it too. But they were Vermont made, not U.K. One of the very best rods on the U.K. market at the time. Web4 subscribers. BUT...at $295 this thing is dangerously close to Orvis Superfine territory and that's gunna cost Diamondback alot of business. A Chinese rod with questionable quality control shouldn't cost $300, but i can live with it.
